“He who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall not thirst.” (Jn 6:35)
The apparition of the Lord Jesus in the Holy Eucharist as the King made visible to the Sisters, Staff and the Students on 11th November 1993 from noon to evening drew many people young and old bear witness. Most of them being exhorted “Fear not, I am with you always.”
As a mark of this historic event, 25th year of this apparition was devotedly celebrated on 11th November 2018. Scripture says “For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven, and gives life to the world” (Jn 6:33). That life-giving Eucharist was exposed from morning 9 am to the evening at 4 pm in the same chapel and adored by all the Sisters. The Eucharistic procession started at 4 pm Rev. Fr. Sebastien and Rev.Fr. John Selvam carried the Blessed Sacrament around Eight Houses and Institutions with grateful hearts. Sisters who had fortunate to be there walked on both sides with candles reacted with reverence, wonder, and even awe as the procession passed along. That was the time to recall our long Eucharistic tradition and then concluded with Benediction. Followed by Holy mass, five priests concelebrated. Rev.Fr. Sahaya Raj deepens our faith and trust in the Eucharist by his sermon.
