40 YEARS OF SERVICE IN ITALY

The completion of forty years of service in Italy was celebrated at Casa Del Marmo, Rome on 21st June 2016.

Rev. Mother Reginal, the Superior General, Rev. Sr. Arul Anitha, the Secretary General, Rev. Sr. Agnes Mary, the Treasurer General attended the function. All the sisters who serve in Italy also assembled there with family spirit. Msgr. Leo Arockiaraj was the chief celebrant, ten other Tamil priests and Rev. Fr. Pasqualae together celebrated the Holy Mass. After the Eucharistic Celebration the chief guest and dignitaries were honored by the sisters. Well wishers, benefactors, Presidents, Directors of the institution in which our sisters are serving also participated in the event. After that, Indian food and Italian food were arranged for the dinner.

After that there was a get-together among the sisters. They enlightened the function with variety entertainment. Rev. Mother Reginal delivered the Presidential Address. One hour thanks giving prayer was conducted by the sisters in the presence of the Holy Eucharistic.

The next day, all the sisters went to Vatican along with the Superior General, Rev. Mother Reginal to receive the Papal blessing. A magazine “Italiyil Thadam Pathitha 40-vathu Aandu Malar” was published. It contains the past 40 years service of the Sisters of St. Anne, Tiruchirapalli in Italy and History of the communities in abroad with Colorful photos.
