Unless the Lord wishes the efforts of the builder will be futile (Psalm: 127:1)

The housewarming ceremony of our new building was celebrated on 28.01.2024. The function began at 11 am. All our sisters gathered in front of the newly built house. Our Superior General very Rev. Sr.Reginal, Provincial Rev. Sr.Sahaya Tamizharasi, and General Councillor Rev. Sr. Amali and many sisters from different communities graced this occasion with their valuable presence. We had extended a warm welcome to all of them.

Along with them, we were fortunate to obtain the blessing of Reverend Fathers from the Pullambadi vicariate who honoured us with their presence in our midst during the inauguration of the new house.  Rev.Fr.M.A.Susai Manickam V.F of Pullambadi, sons of the soil Rev.Fr.Anthonisamy OFM cap., the Provincial Trichy province, our parish priest Rev.Fr.Sahayaraj, Rev.Fr.Kaspar, Rev.Fr.Christuraj, Rev.Fr.Selvaraj OFM.cap., Rev.Fr. Joseph Kennady were kind enough to give their wishes and blessings of the Lord on this special day. The village elders and notable village heads were also present.

The special events began exactly at 11.30 am with the welcome address. Our Superior General very Rev.Sr.Reginal cut the ribbon and inaugurated the new building. Rev.Sr.Sahaya Tamizharasi Provincial of Kumbakonam Province unveiled the inscription stone on the occasion. Symbolically, we invoked the light of Christ to shine on this new house. Our Superior General very. Rev.Sr.Reginal lit the first wick and followed her      Rev. Fr. Susai Manickam V.F, Rev.Fr.Sahayaraj, Rev.Sr.Sahaya Tamizharasi Provincial, General Councillor Sr. Amalorpava Mary, Engineer Mr. Joel Ganasen, superior of the community, daughter of the soil Sr. Siron Mani Josephine and one of the elders of the village participated in the lighting of kuthu vilakku. Rev.Fr.M.A. Susai Manickam blessed the new building.

The Holy Eucharistic celebration, the major event of that day’s function began at 11.45 a.m. Rev.Fr.M.A. Susai Manickam was the main celebrant, and others joined. Then the blessed sacramant was established in the new chapel. The construction Engineer and all the other workers were honoured with gifts of gratitude. Finally, Our Superior General Sr. Reginal delivered a valuable elaborate message about our Congregation to the adorable and dignified audience. With great joy and goodwill, everyone wished the community all the best. After sharing a grand dinner, the event ended at 2.00 p.m..
We praise and thank the almighty God for His gracious mercy to us.
