Though the corona virus created the distance between the people and postponed all the gathering and celebrations, we the sisters of St. Anne of Trichy silently celebrated Silver Jubilee of our 15 beloved sisters. The thanksgiving holy mass was celebrated on 04.10.2020 at St. Theresa’s Church, Crawford, Trichy. The Holy mass was concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Danish Ponniah SJ, Provincial Jesuit Madurai Province.

Superior General Rev. Sr. Reginal SAT, General Councillors, Provincials, Sisters from nearby Communities, Formees, family members and friends of our Jubilarians participated with all the constrains created by the COVID 19. Jubilarians renewed their religious vows with deep gratitude and sang a Pascal thanksgiving song as a note of their 25 years of religious life. This was a very solemn and grace filled moment. Sr. Mariammal, General Councillor thanked Rev.Fr. Danish Ponniah, Mother Reginal SAT Superior General honoured him with the shawl.

Following the Eucharistic celebration, the festive atmosphere continued with small felicitation function for the Jubilarians. The Jubilarians honoured by the Superior General, Councillors and the Provincials. Finally, Jubilarians thanked God for his undivided love, Congregation, Parents, Friends and all who shared their life to reach this 25^th Jubilee milestone year. The celebration came to end with the grand lunch.
