“The more you honour me, the more I will bless you.”

The Infant Jesus Church was established by the Sisters of St. Anne of Tiruchirappalli. It is situated on SIMCO Meter Factory Road, behind the Jegan Matha Church in Kajamalai. The church began in a small hut in 1986 and has been a place of blessings and mercy for the past 38 years. Every Thursday, there is a special Infant Jesus novena at 6 p.m.

In April 2, 3, 4, 2024, we celebrated a 1902-week novena. In the spirit of love and compassion, we came together to honour our Infant Jesus and spread goodwill to all seeking guidance and blessings, embracing His innocence and faith.

The first and second days began with the Infant Jesus’ novena followed by Holy Eucharistic celebration and Benediction. The Superior General and our Congregation sisters who are near the communities and the devotees joined this celebration. Around 150 devotees joined the celebration in this holy place to honour our Infant Jesus and received enormous blessings and grace from our Baby Jesus.

The third day was celebrated as our Infant Jesus’ day grandly. The celebration started with lighting the lamp followed by a novena and a glorious festival Eucharistic celebration with five priests. Approximately 300 devotees and our Congregation sisters joined this festival. After the holy mass, we honoured our Infant Jesus with a car procession in our church campus. At the end of the procession, we received blessings from Benediction. We finished this festival with sweets and bread blessed by the priest.
